WordPress Developer
2023-2025LivCor (Blackstone)
Landing pages and a SmartRecruiters-powered careers experience for LivCor, a Blackstone real estate portfolio company, including a custom plugin that pipes live job listings into Elementor.
→ A careers page that stays in sync with the company's ATS automatically, with no manual job posting, plus marketing landing pages the in-house team can edit without a developer.
The problem
LivCor is a Blackstone portfolio company that asset-manages a huge multifamily real estate portfolio. Their WordPress site had two recurring needs. Marketing needed new landing pages shipped regularly: on brand, fast, and editable by their own team afterwards. And the careers section had a classic corporate-site problem: the actual job openings lived in SmartRecruiters, their applicant tracking system, while the website’s listings had to be kept in step by hand. Any gap between the two meant stale postings and candidates landing on roles that no longer existed.
The approach
For the marketing work, I built out a series of landing pages in Elementor, matching LivCor’s brand system closely enough that new pages composed from the same building blocks stayed consistent, and stayed editable by non-developers after handoff.
For careers, I wrote a custom WordPress plugin that integrates with the SmartRecruiters API: it fetches the company’s live job listings and exposes them through a custom Elementor block. That gave editors the same workflow they used for everything else: drop the block on a page, and it renders the current openings. SmartRecruiters stays the single source of truth; the website simply reflects it.
The outcome
The careers page went from a manually maintained list to a live view of the ATS: jobs appear when recruiting posts them and disappear when they’re filled, with no one touching the website. And because both the listings block and the landing pages live inside Elementor, LivCor’s own team can keep evolving the site without a developer in the loop for every change.
